"I've always loved working with people. So working at Partridge House was a natural fit."
Outstanding Job
“Today marks the day I have now been a resident of Partridge House for exactly 18 months. I am happy here and communicate that sentiment to all who inquire of me how I am doing. The core staff at Partridge House do an outstanding job. If something extra needs to be done, all of them have taken turns getting it done. I’m impressed with their work ethic. The nursing staff is competent and friendly. I like the food. I don’t want to move anywhere else.

Grateful every day for the care and love provided by Partridge House
"I am writing you on the anniversary of my father moving to Partridge House following a stay at the Exeter Center Rehabilitation Facility.
After he suffered a stroke in September 2021 I did not believe my father would be alive much longer – let alone two years later at age 90!
Dad’s longevity and good overall health is largely due to the excellent care and support of the Staff and Volunteers at Partridge House. Dad is well cared for, treated with respect and dignity, encouraged to engage in physical and mental activities, enjoys the live music shows and field trips and he remains healthy!
I spend two to three hours with Dad in common areas of Partridge House several times each week and have gotten to know many of the staff as well as most Residents. I enjoy spending time with the entire gang – the atmosphere is inclusive, caring, fun and filled with good humor. I never anticipated visiting my father there would enrich my life with an entire new community!
I appreciate the incredibly dedicated caregivers who work overtime, come in on their days off to help out and do so with good humor. Despite staff turnover and shortages in personnel combined with the challenges presented by Covid, Partridge House does an excellent job caring for the people who live there and their families. I leave most visits smiling and laughing.
I am grateful every day for the care and love provided by Partridge House Personnel.
Thank you and everyone there,
- Claudie L. Marston-Miner, CET, MPH"

When it comes to health care, quality of life has become increasingly important in recent years.
Maintaining health and wellness is an ongoing goal, even as we age — or maybe especially as we age.
While taking care of an elderly loved one, it’s important to also take care of yourself.
